Institut Panos Paris, in partnership with Cospe (Italy) and Miramedia (Netherlands) and with the collaboration of Respect magazine - France, is holding a public debate on 21 October at 6.30 pm in the Higher Council meeting room of the Institut du Monde Arabe (Paris) on Ethic media / mass media – building bridges to diversity and pluralism.

Over 100 journalists are expected, from ethnic media and the mass media, along with researchers, representatives of the authorities, from France, Italy, and the Netherlands, as well as Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Sweden and the USA.

Starting with various professional experiences and practices, this public debate hopes to explore possible forms of collaboration between ethnic media and the mass media. The discussions may also show how such alliances could become important tools for strengthening media pluralism and the expression of diversity
